ACADEMIC REGISTRY ACADEMIC AFFAIRS SECTION AND UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES SECTION Assistant Manager (25260520) The Academic Registry is now looking for a passionate, dynamic and experienced person to perform administrative duties in the Admissions Office. Responsibilities: Support various admission schemes of undergraduate programmes for the admission of local and non-local students; Assist in the planning and coordination of outreach activities locally and outside Hong Kong. Travel to overseas and Chinese Mainland is required; Coordinate daily system enhancements and the annual system enhancement exercise, liaise with ITO to ensure smooth implementation and effective communication; Provide support to applicants and Faculties / Schools in the recruitment and admission process through liaison with internal and external stakeholders; Coordinate the team in preparing, processing, and compiling statistical analyses and reports; and Perform data analysis to support the planning and improvement of admissions strategies. Requirements: A recognised degree plus at least five years of post-qualification work experience. Candidates with less experience may also be considered; Previous work experiences in the tertiary education sector, especially in student recruitment and admissions, is advantageous; An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); Be people-oriented, open to new ideas with good analytical, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills as well as possess the ability to work independently and under pressure; Candidates with high level of IT proficiency and experiences in statistical analysis and supporting computer systems will be an added asset; and Solid knowledge of data processing and analysis; high IT proficiency and experience with statistical analysis and supporting computer systems will be an asset. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two year(s). Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
