ACADEMIC REGISTRY Assistant Manager (25260495) The Academic Registry is now looking for a passionate, dynamic and experienced person to perform administrative duties in the Admissions Office. Responsibilities: * Assist in the development and implementation of non-local student recruitment strategies to expand the University’s global reach and achieve enrolment targets; * Coordinate and participate in international outreach activities, including but not limited to education fairs, school visits and other engagements with prospective students and partners in person or virtually; * Manage communications with and provide guidance to prospective applicants and stakeholders throughout the application process; * Expand the network and build relationships with overseas and Chinese Mainland high schools to enhance applications and foster collaborative opportunities; * Analyse recruitment data and trends, prepare reports and recommendations to inform decision-making and optimise recruitment strategies; and * Travel to overseas and Chinese Mainland is required. Requirements: * A recognised degree plus at least five years of post-qualification work experience. Candidates with less experience may also be considered; * Previous work experiences in the tertiary education sector, especially in student recruitment and admissions, is advantageous; * An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); * People-oriented and open to new ideas, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills; and * Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two year(s).  Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.  Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
