Job Description ibis Sydney Barangaroo is seeking an exceptional Assistant Manager who loves people and is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences. This service-minded individual will join a small, engaged team, thriving in an environment full of growth and development opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and support the daily operations of the hotel Drive guest satisfaction and loyalty by innovating and continuously enhancing the quality of guest service Take initiative to ensure every guest interaction is positive, professional, and productive Actively resolve guest requests, complaints, and challenges in a timely and effective manner Support team growth by providing guidance, recognizing contributions, and fostering learning and development Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all guests, patrons, and team members Qualifications What We Are Looking For Previous Front Office and Food & Beverage managerial experience A service-focused personality with proven leadership capabilities Experience with Opera Cloud or a similar property management system Ability to make independent and confident decisions Strong leadership skills: lead by example, foster a positive team culture, and drive high performance Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform well under pressure Outstanding written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and First Aid certificates Full working rights in Australia Additional Information What We Offer Complimentary on-site car parking while on duty.
