POSITION SUMMARY:  Experience in handling Accounting, Financials, and Reporting activities of the entity; Supporting close activities and year-end close processes; strengthening internal controls; handling automation projects; Account reconciliation; Loans (LHFS/LHFI) accounting; Warehouse lines funding. Should possess good analytical and advanced Excel skillsets in performing data analysis. Oracle ERP knowledge is a must. JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  * Support daily, Month close activities and year-end close process * Preparing and publishing timely MIS on a Monthly, Quarterly & Annual basis * FIR reporting:  Variance analysis, building bridge for movement MOM, coordination with various stakeholders for final reporting to the Management. * LHFS/LHFI accounting as per US GAAP * Warehouse lines accounting * Account Reconciliations  * Automation tasks; creation of templates; running tests for databases; collaboration with other users/business units towards automation initiatives to improve workflow. * General ledger review; analysis/recordation of monthly entries in close co-ordination with Business unit heads * Co-ordination with internal and external auditors in completion of Audits   QUALIFICATION:  Qualified Chartered Accountant/ MBA Finance WORK SCHEDULE OR TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:  Remote working with monthly/quarterly office connect Onity Group Inc. is a leading non-bank financial services company providing mortgage servicing and originations solutions through its subsidiary, Onity Mortgage, formerly known as PHH Mortgage.
