JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Senior Director, Accounting Policy & SEC Reporting, the Assistant Manager will be an integral member of the SEC Reporting – Accounting Policy group and will support the team in the preparation of the 10-K, 10-Q, and other SEC filings. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in creating timely, high-quality documents and facilitating procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of Marriott International’s SEC filings. The Assistant Manager will partner with others within Accounting Policy, FR&A, and throughout the Global Finance organization to help lead Marriott’s external financial reporting.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • At least 3 years Accounting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • CPA license or substantial completion of licensure requirements required.
  • Specific industry experience is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Knowledge of US generally accepted accounting principles and interest in SEC pronouncements.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively plan, work well under pressure, and manage multiple projects simultaneously; efficient time management skills.
  • Effective decision-making skills; can choose a course of action amongst options .
  • Strong problem solving, research, and analytical skills; encourages innovative solutions when appropriate.

    The salary range for this position is $81,200 to $121,400 annually.
