REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant ACMV experience, preferably in construction, M&E contracting, or facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC/ACMV systems, building codes, and standards.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

Assist in managing the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of ACMV systems to ensure optimal performance, compliance with regulations, and alignment with project requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Management
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising ACMV works from initiation to completion.
  • Work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project schedules, quality, and budgets are met.
  • Monitor site progress and resolve technical or coordination issues.
  • Technical & Design Coordination
  • Review and interpret ACMV drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Provide technical advice on system design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.
  • Operations & Maintenance Support
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance works for ACMV systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system faults to minimize downtime.
  • Keep proper maintenance records and service reports.
  • Cost & Resource Management
  • Assist in preparing budgets, cost estimates, and resource allocation plans.
  • Monitor and control project expenses to prevent cost overruns.
  • Team Supervision & Training
  • Supervise technicians and junior engineers in daily tasks.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve staff technical competency and safety awareness.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce workplace safety and environmental protection measures.
  • Ensure works are carried out in compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards.
