As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily Front of House operation, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of food preparation and service. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in coordinating and managing the operation to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction - a lead by example approach is ESSENTIAL
- Supervise and lead the front of house staff in delivering exceptional service and maintaining a positive work environment
- Ensure our customer journey meets quality standards, follow food safety regulations, and adheres to menu specifications
- Oversee stock management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
- Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, dining area, and back-of-house spaces
- Address any customer complaints or operational issues promptly and professionally
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality management or a related field is required
- Strong knowledge of hospitality practices, and restaurant operations
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Proficiency in supervising staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth operations during service hours
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and vendors
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while upholding quality standards
- Understanding of budgeting, cost control measures.
