JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Description Assistant Manager – Analytics (Channel Business) Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra Reports To: Manager – Analytics – Channel Business Role Summary The Assistant Manager – Analytics will serve as a key analytics partner for the Channel Business, responsible for structuring business requirements, processing and validating large datasets, and delivering actionable insights through strong data visualization and storytelling. The role requires hands‑on analytical execution along with effective stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities Analytics & Insights Translate business problems into clearly defined analytical requirements. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytical outputs for channel performance tracking. Conduct in‑depth analysis across primary sales, secondary sales, inventory, and competitive intelligence data. Support business reviews and decision‑making through structured insights and clear recommendations. Stakeholder Communication Build strong working relationships with channel, sales, and commercial stakeholders. Independently resolve complex stakeholder queries using structured thinking and data‑driven approaches. Data Processing & Quality Management Process, clean, and transform large and complex datasets using Python, SQL, Excel, and Power Query. Perform data quality checks, validation, and reconciliation across multiple data sources. Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and limitations; work with BI/IT teams to resolve underlying issues. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and business relevance of all analytics deliverables. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or commercial analytics roles. Strong hands‑on skills in Power BI, Python (for data processing), SQL, and Excel. Excellent communication and analytical thinking, especially for translating data into business‑friendly insights. Preferred Skills Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG channel/commercial analytics. Exposure to cloud environments such as Azure or AWS. Familiarity with sales performance, inventory analysis, and competitive intelligence data. The base pay for this position is N/A In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
