HIRING FOR SERVER AND ASSISTANT MANAGER POSITIONS FOR EARLY OCTOBER. SUSHI ADACHI IS OPENING A NEW LOCATION IN MOUNTAIN VIEW AND IS LOOKING TO START SEEKING QUALIFIED CANDIDATES FOR SERVER AND ASSISTANT MANAGER POSITIONS.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our servers and ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and a passion for the food industry.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with TouchBistro POS systems is advantageous for efficient order processing.
  • Experience in customer service roles, demonstrating strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

    - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry is essential.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years in fine dining, upscale hospitality. Japanese cuisine preferred
  • College degree (associates or higher) is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable) and POS systems
  • Ability to build rapport with guests and train staff in customer service excellence
  • Organized, reliable, and responsive (especially for guest communication)
  • Fluent in English; Japanese language ability is a plus
  • Familiarity with CA labor regulations and ServSafe certification preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel (or Google Sheets) is required for guest data tracking and basic CRM management.
  • Uphold and train staff in luxury Japanese hospitality (omotenashi)
  • Promptly reply to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
  • Personally engage with guests, including VIPs and regulars, to build loyalty
  • Ensure memorable omakase and à la carte service execution
  • Previous roles in restaurant management or hospitality management will be considered an asset.
  • Photo and video editing skills to help with our marketing content
