Job Summary: This job involves policy administration to ensure effective and timely processing of new, renewal and endorsement business across Asia Pacific offices. This position shall assist to achieve the target service levels and accuracy as well as supporting Profit Centre on administration works. The role sits in Operations department and reports directly to the Middle Office Operations team lead. Job Duties: Assist underwriters to process business in policy administration systems by working closely with the rest of the Middle Operations team and outsourced service provider. Help maintain team standards through supporting other underwriting assistants in achieving service level targets for the team. Maintain and develop key relationships including brokers and external clients and respond to broker queries in an accurate and timely manner. Interact and coordinate with other teams on project requirements, timelines and deliverables. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure seamless project execution. Support the Operations team lead in overseeing daily operations and assist leading a small team. Essential Requirements: Matriculated or above. A minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in underwriting and operation support activities in commercial insurance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, independent and responsible. Willing to learn and work under pressure. Excellent communication skills both spoken and written. for effective collaboration with a diverse and regionally dispersed team. Solid experience in underwriting support for Casualty, Healthcare and Professional Lines of business Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
