JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the venue’s operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving performance.
This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for creating and running queer spaces. The Assistant Manager will assist in overseeing daily operations, managing teams in the absense of the GM, and maintaining stock control and systems while fostering a positive work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within busy hospitality venue is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Proficiency in employee training & development practices.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stock control and administrative tasks.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

    Pay: From £14.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of venue operations, including rotas, stock management, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for all team members and customers.
  • Supervise and train team members to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Work with the talent team to ensure the venue’s performers are taken care of.
  • Conduct employee orientation and training programs to enhance team performance.
  • Work with the GM on inventory control processes, ensuring stock levels are maintained and organized.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff regarding policies, procedures, and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with standards in cleanliness and the presentation of the venue.
