Mess Waffles in College Station, TX is looking to hire one assistant manager to join our 20 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, hard-working, dependable, ambitious, engaged, experienced in customer-service and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders
  • Work the line and lead by example
  • Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
  • Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
  • Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining lobby
  • Maintain very high levels of consistency and quality of food
  • Coming in with a positive attitude
  • Must be able to work most weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
  • Ensure appropriate inventory and place weekly orders to maintain supply
  • Closing the register
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy in expediting orders to tables and to-go orders

We are a breakfast, lunch, & brunch restaurant. Early shifts start at 7am and we close at 3pm on weekdays/4pm on weekends
