Badger Badger is a board game based pub with a Japanese street food restaurant, we’re looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team as we seek to grow the business.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for running day to day operating of the site, team training and driving a warmly casual but professional customer care standard. They will be passionate about food and drive high standards of product and service.
The responsibilities below are a great starting point for any Assistant Manager but as a small growing company we are strong believers in training all the skills into an AM which will prepare them for a General Manager role in time.
Responsibilities
- Relationship and training responsibility for the team.
- Directly supervise the business, ensuring, and maintaining high quality standards
- Consistently assess and provide ongoing performance feedback to all levels of team members
- Be responsible for overseeing the ordering of wet stock and cleaning materials.
- Oversee health and safety due diligence checks and tasks.
Requirements
· Minimum 1 year management experience in a pub or bar.
· A self motivated individual who is capable of planning, carrying out and delivering reports on their long term business growth projects.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00 per year
