Sitting neatly on the corner of King and Murray Streets is the Belgian Beer Cafe. As guests step through our front doors, they'll be transported into a different world, where the 1930s are kicking off and Belgium's old school style and charm oozes through the walls. We're a unique experience in Perth, providing locals and visitors with an authentic experience, complete with a huge selection of our famous Belgian Beer, and a menu full of delicious dishes, with a nod to modern Australian cuisine, including all the pub classics guests know and love. Located in the perfect position in Perth's CBD, guests can stay the night in one of our modern rooms and experience the best of the west from the comfort of the Belgian Beer Cafe. We provide quality service, and we're known for our beer pouring theatrics to make your experience that much better. Salary: $76,600 + superannuation + bonus A day in the life of an Assistant Manager: Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of their crew Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift Inherent requirements: This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently. About you: You’ve been around the bar and bistro block, and maybe already done some supervising You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away You’ve got a current RSA and Approved Manager card as per WA state requirements If you’re keen to learn, lead, and laugh while making this pub the best spot in town – we’d love to hear from you.
