Job Description The Assistant Manager is a crucial role at the Central Processing Center of BidFTA. They are responsible for monitoring employee productivity, evaluating job performance, and communicating job expectations. Accuracy and efficiency are the cornerstones of our success as a business and this position requires somebody who has a desire to directly impact the success of a business with their work ethic and attention to detail. Responsibilities Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees Train, coach and develop the team by working together on an ongoing basis and leading by example Enforcing systems, policies, and procedures Ensure daily quota is met Maintain a clean and orderly department Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities accordingly Oversee safe use of equipment Requirements 1 year of supervisory experience Friendly and helpful Excellent communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Detail oriented 18 years of age or older Ability to work quickly and efficiently Ability to work well as part of a team Proven history of strong work ethic Willingness to learn new things Adaptability to change Technological literacy - Experience using an IOS device (iPad) is a plus but not required training will be provided. Ability to work in a warehouse environment – Non temperature-controlled environment, lifting items/boxes overhead, standing for extended periods of time, squatting, ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs
