Job Description: As a Billing and Collection Specialist for Service Retrofit at Johnson Controls, you will manage the billing process and collections for our service retrofit projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Your role is crucial in maintaining customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery. Oversee the billing processes for service retrofit projects, ensuring accuracy in invoicing and adherence to company policies. Prepare and distribute invoices to clients promptly, addressing any discrepancies or issues related to billing Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments, maintaining customer credit profiles Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and payment statuses, providing excellent customer service. Work collaboratively with project managers and finance teams to resolve billing issues and facilitate smooth operations. Generate reports on billing and collection activities, highlighting issues or trends that may require action. Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing and collections, preferably in a service-oriented industry. Strong understanding of billing processes and accounts receivable management.
