ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking an assistant manager for our Kelowna location.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive outlook and “glass half-full” mentality.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment (staff role).
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a restaurant or business management role.
  • Post-secondary education and or skilled trades certification an asset.
  • Certifications: occupational first aid, food safe level 1, serving it right.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Management team in driving standards and in delivering an exceptional guest and staff experience.
  • Leading, coaching, and organizing the restaurant team.
  • An active role in running the restaurant daily and in diagnosing and solving problems.
  • Driving Bin 4 systems, quality, and consistency standards.
  • Facilitating communication between the management, service, and kitchen teams.
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
  • Working with store management on current initiatives.
  • Promoting a health and safety culture.
  • Filling in staff serving and or bartending positions on an as needed basis.
