Bosley’s by Pet Valu is a trusted pet specialty retailer dedicated to providing high-quality pet products and outstanding customer service. We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Assistant Manager to join our Richmond store team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have knowledge and understanding of AGR for inventory management.
• Previous experience in the pet industry and strong knowledge of pet products is required.
• Basic knowledge of accounting is required.
• Basic knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset but not required.
• Proficiency in computer use is required (including MS Office, email, and retail management systems).
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Preference will be given to candidates who live in Richmond, BC.
• Weekends are mandatory.

• Assist in managing daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and staff supervision.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring proper stock levels and product availability.
• Utilize AGR for inventory management to maintain accurate records and streamline operations.
• Support merchandising and promotional activities to enhance customer engagement.
• Provide expert guidance to customers on pet products and pet care.
• Handle cash transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure proper accounting practices.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth store operations and an excellent customer experience.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
