Are you our new Assistant Manager? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic person to join our team and help us continue to deliver outstanding service in our unique venue. Full Time position working daytimes only with an immediate start.

As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily service, supporting the front of house team wherever needed and assisting with operational tasks.
You will supervise and work alongside a team of friendly waitstaff and baristas helping to ensure efficient operations and consistent quality while maintaining our high standards of customer service in a relaxed, approachable style.

What you’ll be doing

  • Monitor all front of house operations, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Assist with the training and development of front of house staff
  • Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist the Manager with operational duties as needed
  • Maintain the functionality and appearance of the store to a high standard

What we’re looking for

  • Experience (1+ years) in a front of house supervisory/management role within the hospitality industry
  • Prior experience of leading and motivating a team within a busy venue
  • Must be available to work on weekends (at least one day)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and staff
  • Excellent time management and problem solving abilities
  • A keen interest in food and beverage and a desire to learn more
  • Commitment to adhering to all relevant health, safety and liquor licensing regulations
  • Barista experience (strongly desired)

We are seeking someone who can ideally commit long term and this position is not suitable for applicants with limited availability.
