Sephora SEA’s omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).

Responsibilities

As Assistant Manager, Brand Partner Marketing, you will be responsible for establishing marketing plans for all of Sephora brand partners across your assigned categories, that drive sales and keep Sephora competitive and beloved by clients, including new brands marketing strategy. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Brand Partner Marketing, you will partner with brands to optimize programs using Sephora’s marketing levers. In addition, you will serve as:

  • Brand Marketing Advisor
  • Drive and deliver brand partner marketing strategies that unlock more business value to both brands and Sephora, across the Makeup & Fragrances categories.
  • Develop a keen understanding of the brands’ businesses, priorities, and products, working alongside the Merchandising department.
  • Advise the respective brands on how to win at Sephora from an omni-channel marketing standpoint, including sampling strategy, social media strategy, co-op advertising, and con-sumer messaging to achieve mutually beneficial business objectives.
  • Drives and owns the relationship with brand partners.
  • Collaborative and Marketing Programs
  • Develop strong partnerships, securing brand participation in relevant Sephora marketing programs.
  • Analyse and report on Sephora and brand ROI for collaborative marketing programs and sampling investments. Utilize data to make recommendations to deliver win-wins for both the brands and Sephora.
  • Identify opportunities for new co-op marketing programs and partnerships. Build the business case to develop new ideas and innovations.
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Influence
  • Build reciprocal partnerships cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization: merchandising/brands, e-commerce, growth marketing, retail operations, training, and education, creative, CRM & loyalty and analytics teams.
  • Employ a strategic approach to process; organize and divvy up work effectively.
