Based in Pine River and St. Paul, Minnesota, the company designs and builds equipment used by commercial butchers, slaughterhouses, and game bird processors. Knase is well-known for producing "carcass drop machines" (specifically the EZ Off and EZ Pak models). This equipment is used by meat processors to safely and efficiently lower meat carcasses from a high overhead rail down to a cutting table. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and organized Remote Assistant Manager to support daily business operations and help ensure the efficient execution of departmental objectives. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy coordinating teams, improving workflows, assisting with operational activities, and providing administrative support in a fast-paced remote environment. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership potential, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Key Responsibilities - Support the day-to-day operations of the department and assist with achieving organizational goals. - Coordinate administrative and operational activities to ensure efficient workflow. - Assist in supervising team activities, monitoring productivity, and supporting employee development. - Prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and monitor departmental performance metrics. - Communicate effectively with internal departments, management, and external stakeholders. - Help identify process improvements and implement operational best practices. - Assist with scheduling, project coordination, and task delegation as needed. - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards. approach. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive business information with professionalism. - Demonstrated leadership potential with a customer-focused mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
