We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Assistant Manager, Business Regulatory Risk. Role Profile: Assistant Manager, Business Regulatory Risk (BRR) role acts as a trusted advisor to the first line of defense (1LoD) of the business and works closely with core role holders in active management of non-financial risk and adherence to the NFR framework. In this role, you will: Proactively manage all regulatory governance and regulatory change management related initiatives within DAK Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) with the support from Risk Stewards and relevant stakeholders Ensure proper tracking, monitoring, follow-up and execution of all regulatory circulars and guidance from central bank or policies from regional BRR chain Escalate any regulatory issues to appropriate authority for timely and robust implementation Ensure robust oversight of Complaints Management. Ensure customer feedback and complaints are duly logged, monitored and closed within SLA. Ensure reginal requirements on complaints and feedback management are properly rolled-out and being used by CIB population Coordinate governance forums within DAK CIB related to regulatory governance and complaints management. Track and follow-up actions for completion. Provide complete, accurate and timely updates for various country governance forums Facilitate external and internal audits and ensure implementation of audit recommendations across CIB Provide stakeholders with key metrics and data that will give visibility on risks and control environment and allow them to identify emerging and current issues that require management attention Maintain in-depth understanding and oversight of conduct, cross border, information control, training, standard documents, product governance, and other issues pertaining to BRR. Supports the regional CIB Business Risk team in oversight and effective management through implementation of relevant framework and policies Conduct awareness sessions among CIB colleagues on complaint and BRR related issues Provide specialist risk and control knowledge and insights Influence and shape the development of regulatory frameworks in collaboration with internal parties To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Bachelor degree from a public/private university preferably in Business background Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, communication, teamwork and influencing skills Ability to handle and resolve inter/intra departmental issues and in handling external regulators
