Cantina 76 is seeking a dedicated and driven Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining a positive work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant function.
  • Manage and motivate staff, fostering a team-oriented, customer-focused culture.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating employees, ensuring all staff adhere to restaurant standards and protocols.
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and service, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and care.
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Support financial management by tracking sales, managing cash flow, and controlling labor costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and increase repeat business.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a hands-on management style.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and guests.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, scheduling, and basic financial operations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
