We are looking for a candidate to assist the centre in the following:

Communication and Stakeholder Support

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to engage and support both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Facilitate meetings, presentations, and discussions, ensuring clear and concise communication of relevant information.

Budget Management

  • Track and manage budget expenditure and projections to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with project goals.

Staff Recruitment

  • Coordinate talent requisition efforts by gathering resumes for screening, managing onboarding and offboarding processes for staff.
  • Assist in the hiring process for staff, student helpers, and scholarship students

Centre Administration Support

  • Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manage office supplies, and handle procurement and maintenance of office assets.
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings and events.
  • Perform general administrative duties including procurement, office maintenance, asset management, and other ad-hoc projects as requested by the hiring manager.

Job Requirements:

  • A degree from a recognized university, preferably with some relevant working experience.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively with staff and faculty at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical.
  • Familiarity with HR functions and procurement processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with database management.
