Assistant Manager – Cleaning Services
Essex | Company Vehicle (for the right candidate)
We are one of the fastest-growing cleaning companies in Essex, and we’re looking for a motivated, organised, and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in the growth of a professional, people-focused company.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operations Manager with daily business management.
  • Supervise cleaning staff and ensure high standards are consistently met.
  • Carry out quality control checks and site inspections across multiple contracts.
  • Assist with staff inductions, training, and ongoing development.
  • Allocate work schedules and manage rotas effectively.
  • Act as a first point of contact for clients, resolving issues promptly.
  • Provide hands-on support when necessary, including covering emergency cleans.
  • Maintain records, complete reports, and support office administration.
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures and company policies are adhered to at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role (cleaning/facilities background desirable).
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Good problem-solving ability and calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility with working hours (including occasional evenings/weekends).
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
