We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations, inspire our team of 10+ staff, and ensure top-notch customer service. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be actively involved in all aspects of the café—from making drinks and serving customers to coaching and supporting your team. Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Excellence: Be the face of the café, greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile. Handle any customer inquiries or issues with a friendly, solution-focused approach.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 10+ team members. Schedule shifts, manage daily tasks, and foster a positive work environment where team members can thrive.
  • Training and Development: Provide hands-on training for new staff and ongoing development for the team, focusing on customer service, drink quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee daily setup, stock levels, and cleanliness, ensuring everything runs smoothly during service hours.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and drink items meet our quality standards. Regularly review product quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
  • Minimal Administrative Work: Handle basic administrative tasks, such as shift scheduling and tracking daily sales, while spending the majority of your time on the café floor, engaging with customers and supporting your team.
