Assistant Manager ‐ Colour Management (Based at Thulhiriya) Strategically located within Sri Lanka’s Industrial Zone in Thulhiriya, TEXO is a fabric processing mill, offering value adding services such as dyeing, finishing and printing of cotton-based fabrics to global brands. Along with TEXO’s capability of providing customized orders, this MAS owned entity also benefits from the cost and sustainability advantage of being located within the MAS Fabric Park. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to Responsible for the smooth functioning of color lab department whilst ensuring minimal issues and disruptions contributing towards business excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Work together with the top management & internal/external teams to set and review the total process of color lab. Find suitable strategies and opportunities and make sound decisions to improve the total process. * Approve and confirm recipe to the dyeing department considering all key parameters. and adjust the recipe according to the material, machine & environment to the bulk process & guide. * Offer guidance to all executives on the reviewing process whilst identifying permanent corrective action so as to eliminate the root cases in order to minimize variations. * Manage the running, preventive maintenance, overlook raw, sub materials stock and manage required equipment in Color Lab department. * Offer guidance in investigating and reviewing all process failures and identify permanent corrective action so as to eliminate the root cases in order to minimize product variation. * Ensure all the recipes (Customer Lab dips and Production dips) are made under proper standard conditions to fulfil the expected technical outcomes by assuring the best of cost effectiveness and higher accuracy in timely manner   KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS   * A Degree in Chemistry or Equivalent  * 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the smooth functioning of the color lab department to ensure minimal disruptions and business excellence. This includes approving dyeing recipes, guiding executives on corrective actions, and managing lab equipment and materials.
