Are you looking for a job that’s full of FUN? Fancy working in one of Britain’s best-loved landmarks – The Blackpool Tower? We’re on the lookout for a Commercial Assistant Manager who strives for the best, is guest focused, and exudes passion and enthusiasm!
In this role you’ll handle the day to day running of the Blackpool Tower venues, everything from being responsible for the food and beverage service, to coordinating events. You’ll support the Commercial Manager to lead, develop and empower the commercial team to improve revenue and achieve outstanding service, offering a wide variety of products, whether that’s a premium afternoon tea experience in our world-famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom or sipping cocktails at the top of the Blackpool Tower at the stylish Bar 380.
A key part of this role is to handle relationships with suppliers to deliver the highest food quality, whilst maintaining margins, reducing wastage, and meeting a challenging budget. You’ll also recruit, train and mentor your team to be their very best and you’ll also ensure that rosters and staffing levels are appropriate and within budget.
This role is a permanent, full-time role, working 5 days from 7 and as you’d expect with the late-night nature of some of our events there will be regular evening, weekend and bank holiday working on a roster basis, so you’ll need to be flexible with regards to working days and hours.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • An in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry
  • Evidence of growing guest satisfaction
  • A positive attitude with a passion for customer service
  • Management experience within the hospitality industry or similar
  • Someone who thrives in a unique venue, with set menus, food specs, etc.
  • The ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • An excellent communicator and inspirational leader
