The Assistant Manager, Contract Administration is responsible for managing the Collections, Repossession and/or the Debt Enforcement teams in a high-volume environment. Subject to multi deadlines, time pressures and constraints, they work with their teams to maximize recoveries while minimizing collection costs and losses. The teams performance impacts the receivables (delinquencies) and write offs (losses) reported each month and publicly reported each quarter. They ensure the teams attempt to enforce contract agreements while maintaining a valued customer centric approach.
The Assistant Manager recruits and hires while is also responsible for the creation and development of a comprehensive training program, provide onboarding, orientation and training to team members. They are responsible for coaching behaviours, setting and monitoring performance metrics, delegating tasks and reporting to the team and managers.
