Job Description The Assistant Manager is responsible for delivering timely, high-quality services to allocated funds and corporate clients. This role involves taking ownership of deliverables, engaging and developing team members, and reviewing core processes and complex client requirements. The Assistant Manager assists in the preparation and review of financial reports and other deliverables while providing consistent feedback on individual performance regarding accuracy. What You'll Do You'll review complex accounting deliverables, financial statements, reconciliations, and client reports for accuracy and compliance. You'll manage team deliverables, monitor KPIs, and ensure deadlines and service levels are consistently achieved. You'll coach, train, and support Accountants and Senior Accountants in technical accounting and process-related matters. You'll resolve complex accounting queries involving US GAAP, intercompany accounting, and corporate accounting processes. You'll drive process improvements, technology implementations, and stakeholder engagement initiatives across the team. Qualifications You have an MBA and are Qualified or Semi-Qualified CA/CMA. You have strong experience in Corporate Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Statement preparation and review. You have hands-on experience with AP, AR, RTR, GL Reconciliations, Tax Accounting, and MANCO Accounting. You have working knowledge of US GAAP and experience handling Intercompany Accounting and Reconciliations. You have experience using accounting platforms such as NetSuite, Sage, or QuickBooks and have prior team management or review experience.
