  Work Location: Tuen Mun Contract Period: 2-year/Permanent   Applications are invited for the above vacancy in Black Point Power Station (BPPS). The appointee will lead the Process Control and Cyber Security (PC&CS) team and be responsible for ensuring that power plant control systems and their cyber security are maintained in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner. Major duties include: * Provide team leadership: Supervise and mentor the PC&CS maintenance team, fostering skills development and knowledge retention to address long-term competency needs within the team. * Ensure reliable maintenance operations: Oversee all maintenance activities in the process control and instrumentation domain, ensuring tasks are completed safely, on schedule, and meet high reliability and efficiency standards. * Technical oversight & improvement: Review engineering documentation, draft technical and commercial specifications, and prepare maintenance procedures for control systems. Regularly evaluate existing preventive maintenance strategies, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation (including effective spare parts management) to enhance maintenance effectiveness. * Operational maintenance & troubleshooting: Coordinate and carry out effective maintenance for plant equipment related to control systems, including prompt fault diagnosis and emergency repair of PLC, DCS, SCADA, Siemens T3000 control systems, etc., in the power plant. Ensure that any issues are resolved quickly to minimize downtime. * Cyber security management: Implement and oversee cyber security measures for industrial control systems, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and robust protection of critical assets. Work closely with OT security teams to manage vulnerabilities and safeguard the plant’s control network. * Project and outage leadership: Plan and lead major overhaul jobs, projects, and other maintenance activities. Direct multi-disciplinary work teams and contractor staff during outages and projects, ensuring consistent work quality and strict adherence to safety procedures at all times. * Strategic planning: Assist in formulating medium-term and long-term investment and manpower strategies for control systems and cyber security, aligning with business goals. Handle ad-hoc operational assignments and special projects as required. * Work on 3-shift basis or non-shift basis according to business needed.   Requirements: * Education & Experience: A recognized university degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, information technology or related discipline, plus at least 5 years of relevant working experience in engineering and maintenance of industrial control systems. Prior experience in a power plant or heavy industry environment is required. * Technical Expertise: Solid hands-on experience with process control equipment and systems such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and Siemens T3000 control systems. Proven experience in industrial cyber security (e.g., protecting operational technology networks, implementing security controls for control systems) is highly preferred. * Professional Qualifications: Possession of relevant cyber security and networking certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or completion of Windows Server training (or other relevant certifications) is highly preferred. * Power Plant Knowledge: General knowledge of combined-cycle power plant operations and relevant engineering practices. Familiarity with data analytics, IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) applications, and vulnerability management in an industrial context will be an advantage. * Leadership & Soft Skills: Demonstrated leadership ability with strong team-building and mentoring skills. A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical thinking, and self-initiative. Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a maintenance or engineering setting is an advantage. * Language Proficiency: Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese. * Standards & Compliance: Strong knowledge of CLP Power’s safety, health, and environmental requirements, engineering standards, codes of practice, and relevant statutory regulations. Commitment to upholding the highest safety and compliance standards. * Computer Skills: Good knowledge of PC operations and familiarity with enterprise resource planning program (e.g., SAP/Oracle) for work planning and documentation.
