As an Assistant Manager, you will be the primary support to the General Manager. You will be cross-trained in all positions, from guest services to food preparation to cash handling. As a cross-trained employee, you will ensure that your shift delivers a wonderful dining experience to our guests. An Assistant Manager typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

  • Managing a shift of 4-8 employees efficiently in compliance with labor laws
  • Training new team members on proper procedures and policies
  • Handling guest complaints in a professional manner
  • Developing strategies to increase sales and improve efficiency
  • Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
  • Overseeing the opening and closing of the restaurant
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations
  • The ability to do deep cleaning in all areas of the store
  • Setting a positive example for employees
  • Assisting in accurate daily and monthly inventory counts

Qualified Candidates will have strong communication skills, experience with inventory, cost controls, and cash handling, and have the ability to multitask.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2+ year in foodservice supervision
  • Open Availability – can work opening and closing shifts, must be available weekends
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old
  • Serve Safe Certification is a plus! (Training may be provided to the right candidate to get certified.)
