OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for retail management. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for training and developing staff while maintaining high standards of store presentation and inventory control.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in retail management or as an Assistant Manager.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Proficient in retail math, inventory control, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures and financial management practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with effective time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with administrative tasks related to store operations.
  • Knowledge of grocery store operations is preferred but not required.
