Description

We are seeking amotivated and resilient senior carer to move into a management role within our residential home for elderly people, most of whom have dementia.
You will need to apply a flexible attitude to working hours especially in regards to working some weekend shifts, occasional evenings & bank holidays,

You’ll need to have experience and qualifications in working in a care environment before progressing into this Assistant Manager role. You will have:

  • Qualified Care Assistant (Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care)
  • Experience in a health & social care setting
  • Experience of caring for individuals with dementia
  • Experience of supervising & leading a team
  • Experience of administering medication
  • Understanding of key care principles
  • Understanding of safeguarding adults at risk
  • Understanding of regulations & legislation within the care profession
  • Clean driving licence and access to a car

  • Be organised & reliable in your approach to work
  • Be a role model to other care staff
  • Deliver and lead high quality care as part of the care team using a person centred approach
  • Be supported as part of the management team, to write and review care plans, carry out staff supervisions and support the Manager in meeting the Home’s policies, procedures and legal obligations
