Electric Star Pubs is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager our flagship venue the Lord Napier Star in the heart of Hackney Wick.
The iconic neighbourhood building has been restored to its former glory and boasts 3 bars including a roof terrace.In keeping with all our Electric Star venues, we’ll have a focus on great food, drinks and entertainment.
You will be working with the General Manager managing all areas of the venue ensuring that excellent customer service and operational standards are being delivered at all times.
We are looking for a natural team leader who enjoys working in a busy lively environment and can manage and enjoy the pressure of a running a multifunctional space- every day!

You will need:

• Customer service experience within in a pub or restaurant environment, at least 6 months in another supervisor or duty manager position.
• To be able to deliver excellent customer service and build rapport with our customers
• Experience leading a team.
• Strong ability to multi-task and handle a busy bookings diary, across all areas of the venue.
• Ability to be a fair but strong manager who strives to get the best from every staff member, and to provide the best customer experience possible.
• A passion for great food and drinks.
