ABOUT US:
Courts, Civil and Criminal Law is part of the Department of Justice and Community Safety and supports the Attorney General to deliver courts, civil and criminal law policy responsibilities. Courts, Civil and Criminal Law supports 28 independent legal entities across the justice portfolio, working collaboratively across the justice system. The group also supports Civil and Enforcement Services (CES), which includes Fines Victoria and Sheriff’s Office Victoria.
Enforcement and Support Services (ESS) is a branch of CES and manages the administration and enforcement of infringement and court fines across the state. The role of the CES unit includes providing advice to the Attorney-General and the government on infringements policy, scrutinising all proposals to introduce new infringement offences or review existing infringements, and providing information to stakeholders (including enforcement agencies) on the operation of the infringements system.
The Assistant Manager Enforcement Operations role is located within Enforcement & Support Services (ESS), which is a branch of CES. The purpose of this role is to provide to support to the Manager Enforcement Operations, manage the quality of work across Enforcement Operations through the quality assessment framework, training and development opportunities, and working strategically to support the service delivery of Enforcement Operations.
