Description
Job Requirements Functional Safety Analysis: Lead and participate in safety analyses such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) to identify potential safety issues in vehicle systems and components. ● Design and Development: Collaborate with design, mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to integrate safety requirements into the vehicle's architecture and component design. This includes systems like the battery management system (BMS), high-voltage circuits, charging systems, and thermal management. ● Compliance and Regulations: Stay current with and ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and standards from organizations like SAE, NHTSA, and UN/ECE). ● Testing and Validation: Develop and execute safety-related test plans to validate system safety. This includes conducting high-voltage tests, crash-test simulations, and thermal runaway assessments. ● Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement safety controls, including hardware and software safeguards, to mitigate identified risks. ● Incident Investigation: Investigate and perform root cause analysis for any safety-related incidents or failures in prototypes or production vehicles. ● Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed safety documentation, including safety cases, reports, and technical specifications for internal teams and regulatory bodies. ● Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product management, manufacturing, quality assurance, and legal teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to safety Work Experience M.E in Industrial Safety Engineering or Regional Labour Institutes ISO 45001 and other any safety certificates Capable to handle the individual shift
