Position Overview The Assistant Manager – Design & Delivery – Event Management Systems assists the Manager in designing, developing, and delivering IT applications for event management, accreditation, and related domains. The role collaborates with business stakeholders, vendors, and system integrators to ensure solutions support business objectives and optimize operational processes. Key systems include Event management, accreditation integrating to CRM for lead management, and integration to SAP for Accounts Receivable and end-to-end financial processing. Key Responsibilities Design & Delivery Support the design and delivery of event management systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives. Gather and analyze business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, contributing to solution identification and tender processes. Participate in workshops with users, vendors, and integrators to refine requirements, solution designs, and integration plans. Contribute to detailed documentation, including requirements, solution architecture, test plans, and operational handover materials. Support integration between Cvent, Microsoft CRM, SAP, and AR platforms to enable seamless event management, B2B lead handling, revenue entry, and billing/collections. Assist in overseeing the complete delivery lifecycle, ensuring timely deployment and high-quality outcomes. Operations & Support Coordinate with application operations teams to facilitate smooth handover and ongoing system support. Provide Level 2 support for event management applications, collaborating with vendors for Level 3 issue resolution. Monitor system performance, contribute to improvement initiatives, and proactively address operational risks. Coordinate project schedules and resources to ensure continuity of operations and stakeholder satisfaction Experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology 5-7 years’ IT experience in application design, delivery, and support, preferably within event management, CRM, or finance integration domains. Hands-on experience with event management platforms (preferably Cvent) and B2B CRM solutions (Microsoft CRM). Proven ability to deliver and support integrations with SAP for revenue management and billing.
