Description
Planning and implement continual improvement in production, safety, quality and environmental conditions at on board and Workshop. Controlling the job and find resources to improve productivity. Effective communication skills are essential with the ability to work with both in-house and subcontractors. Allocate Supervisors to individually Facility job and motives, lead staff towards completing the job in time with quality in safe manner. Job planning & scheduling, coordinating with Head of Department. Determine and implement the exact needs of the client. Conforms to health & safety standards and ensures good housekeeping and maintenance. Conducting regular one -one-one meeting with the team members to monitor their progress and resolve any issues. Following the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard. Daily Works Progress & Works Plan to Manager Floating Docks Maintenance Reports & Survey Records Update. Ensure dock and other legal requirements remain valid, and follow up on extensions as needed to maintain operations. Maintain dock conditions according to class requirements and close any class comments during inspections. Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering. Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience. Fluent in English (verbal and written). Ability to work with a multi-national workforce. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Good project planning, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work with a multi-national workforce and build effective relationships. Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance. Shipyard experience is an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office and basic project management tools is preferred.
