Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders-Work closely with the service staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry as assistant manager
- Strong knowledge of inventory and labor control, food service management, and cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
