Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager Finance to join our team at ibis Styles Mysuru, India. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Finance to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting processes for our organization. Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports and schedules Supervise and guide the accounting and payroll staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial documents Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and procedures Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, particularly those relevant to the Indian market Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting position Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial/accounting reporting systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Strong organizational and time management abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments Experience in financial analysis and providing strategic insights Familiarity with Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and local financial practices Ability to lead and mentor junior team members CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced financial modeling techniques is a plus Job-Category: Finance Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
