Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible to complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and finalization of accounts.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and assist annual business planning.
• Project Accounting including project budgeting, cost allocation, WIP, revenue recognition.
• Review commercial contracts, payment milestones, retention, variation orders.
• Review of customer credit limits, customer collections, monitoring overdue receivables.
• Coordinate banking activities including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Performance Bonds, Advance Payment Guarantees
• Review VAT returns, statutory filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support business decision-making through financial modelling, profitability analysis and commercial recommendations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Professional accounting qualifications: ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity.
• Prior experience within an engineering, contracting, EPC, or project-based business environment is an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS and taxation regulations
• Strong proficiency in SAP Business One (or comparable ERP systems); advanced Excel skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across Finance, Commercial, Procurement, Operations, and senior management.
