  John Keells PLC was established in 1870 as a Tea and Rubber Broker.  The company is a subsidiary of one of the largest conglomerates in Sri Lanka, the John Keells Group.   A vacancy exists for the role of Assistant Manager – Finance, reporting to the company’s Manager – Finance, in an environment which encourages new ideas and initiatives, and provides excellent performance-based career development opportunities.    Job Responsibilities   Financial and statutory reporting including consolidations Preparation of Annual Plans & Reforecast Finalization of Monthly Accounts & accurate Management Reporting within the stipulated timelines Independently liaise with IRD on tax matters Ensure timely payments and submission of tax returns (WHT, IT, SSCL & VAT, etc) Responsible for ensuring adherence to group & company policies Coordination with Internal & External Auditors Liaising with operations staff on day-to-day issues    Person Specifications   A member in CIMA / ACCA / ICASL / CMA 2 – 3 years’ post qualified experience in a similar capacity Work independently with minimum supervision Experience in S/4HANA (SAP) Experience in a listed entity would be an added advantage   Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by clicking on the link.
