JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for the culinary arts and a desire to help lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
    This position is Tuesday - Saturday, with Sunday and Monday days off, aswell as Tuesday until 17:00 and Wednesday until 17:00.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that all staff adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Supervise front of house staff and bartenders, to ensure efficient service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas.
  • Train new staff on food safety practices, and customer service expectations.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
