Gas N Go General Stores & Markets is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to join our team!

The Assistant Manager’s primary objective is to provide exceptional customer service to our customers, maintain a clean and organized store/work space. To support the Store Manager in store operations, ultimately being able to manage the daily store operations when the Store Manager is absent. They will be required to carry out but not limited to the following duties within the store.

  • Ensure all staff are following Company Policies & Procedures;
  • Delegate tasks to team members;
  • Follow-up to ensure team has completed the required tasks for their shift;
  • Daily paperwork;
  • Execution and team follow-up of promotions;
  • Ordering;
  • Inventory Control;
  • Waste Control;
  • Finding other staff members to over shifts in the event of sickness or other absence;
  • Assist Store Manager in growing sales;
  • Maintenance calls as approved by Store Manager
  • Listen and respond to customer complaints (escalating complaint to Store Manager if necessary);
  • Training new & existing employees;
  • Other duties are directed.

Must be able to work evening and weekends, manage time efficiently and be comfortable working alone.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
