Seventy Five at Liberty is an exciting new restaurant in one of the city’s most iconic department stores. Set within our Grade II-listed building, the restaurant brings a stylish and vibrant dining experience to the heart of London.
As Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. From overseeing reservations to creating memorable guest experiences, you’ll be a welcoming presence and a leader for the team. We’re looking for a charismatic and hands-on individual who can make a lasting impression and build strong relationships, turning guests into regulars.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Experience with Seven Rooms or similar reservation systems is a plus.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Positive, hands-on attitude with a focus on teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience: Ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding service.
  • Reservations Management: Oversee bookings and optimise restaurant capacity using Seven Rooms.
  • Service Leadership: Work closely with the team to deliver seamless front-of-house operations.
  • Host Stand Management: Lead the host stand, review reservations, and make table section recommendations.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns efficiently.
  • Team Coordination: Liaise with the kitchen and service teams to maintain smooth operations.
  • Dining Room Standards: Ensure the restaurant is clean, well-organised, and set up for success.
  • Menu Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of our menus, ingredients, and restaurant offerings.
  • Versatility: Support all areas of the restaurant, including bar and floor service.
  • Cash Handling: Follow accurate cash-handling procedures.
  • Brand Standards: Uphold brand values and ensure service excellence.
  • Targets & Performance: Strive to achieve departmental goals.
