Description Assistant Property Manager GSF Properties Inc. | Fresno, CA GSF Properties Inc. is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team in Fresno, CA. This role supports a 376-unit conventional multifamily community and works closely with the Community Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and a high level of resident satisfaction. In this role, you will assist in managing all aspects of the community, including leasing activities, resident relations, service request coordination, and overall customer service. Responsibilities also include handling resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-organized, and experienced in multifamily property management. The pay range for this position is $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience. The work schedule is Tuesday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during summer hours and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during winter hours, with Saturdays required from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Community Manager and Regional Supervisor to support overall community operations Assist with rent collections by posting payments, following up on balances, enforcing policies, and supporting the collection process as needed Support all leasing activities, including touring prospective residents, processing applications and assisting with lease renewals Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to resident questions, concerns, and requests Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and unit inspections to ensure a smooth resident experience Support the day-to-day physical and financial operations of the community Help maintain accurate resident files, ensuring documentation and compliance requirements are met Ensure adherence to Fair Housing laws, company policies, and regulatory guidelines Assist with accounts payable, including issuing purchase orders and processing invoices Coordinate with maintenance and vendors to support service requests and community upkeep Prepare reports, resident communications, renewal notices, and other documentation for the Community Manager Conduct regular property walks to help maintain community standards and identify improvement needs Support occupancy and resident retention efforts, including marketing and communication initiatives Step in to assist with management responsibilities during the Community Manager’s absence GSF Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Employee assistance program 401K Life insurance Holidays Vacation To learn more about GSF Properties, please visit our website at https://www.gsfpi.com/ Requirements 1+ year of property management or related experience Experience with leasing and resident support Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable learning new systems and processes Basic computer skills, including property management software and Microsoft Office Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks Able to work independently and as part of a team Available Tuesday–Friday (9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. summer hours; 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. winter hours) and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
