Job Description
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Assistant Manager or Duty Manager to become a key part of our Front Office leadership team at Hotel Woolstore 1888 – Handwritten Collection.
This fixed-term, part-time position offers a unique combination of front office and reservations responsibilities—ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic, guest-focused environment. As a leader on the floor, you will oversee daily hotel operations, support and guide the team, and help shape the guest journey from reservation through to check-out.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, acting as the shift lead and ensuring smooth service delivery across all guest touchpoints
  • Lead by example, coaching and supporting the team to maintain a high standard of hospitality
  • Manage guest inquiries, feedback, and recovery with professionalism and care
  • Coordinate and manage reservations, contributing to reservation accuracy and revenue optimization
  • Promote clear communication and collaboration across departments
  • Inspire a positive, safe, and productive workplace culture through active leadership and team support
  • Assist with rostering, operational planning, and the recruitment, training, and development of the Front Office teams
