School District No. 38 (Richmond) is seeking Education Assistants to provide educational and functional support to students with special needs, in and out of the classroom.
The Assistant Manager, Health, Safety and Leave Management is responsible for leading the coordination of WorkSafe BC claims, non-occupational health-related leaves, and district-wide safety initiatives. This role supports employees through injury and illness, ensures compliance with legislation, collective agreements, and internal policies, and promotes effective return-to-work strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external partners to manage claims, facilitate safety training, and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and process improvements.
