Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Assistant Manager - Housekeeping to join our team in Udaipur, India. As an integral part of our housekeeping department, you will assist in managing and directing all housekeeping activities to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Assist the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations and maintaining high cleaning and maintenance standards Assign duties, inspect work, and address complaints regarding housekeeping services and equipment Establish and implement housekeeping standards, procedures, and work schedules Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and maximum productivity Maintain appropriate staffing levels to consistently provide excellent guest service Train and motivate staff on safety procedures, efficient cleaning techniques, and customer service standards Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring cost-effective use of resources Assist in formulating yearly business plans and budgets for the housekeeping department Respond to guest queries and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain cleanliness standards Contribute to the development of innovative housekeeping practices and procedures Qualifications Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field from a recognized institution 5-6 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in luxury or lifestyle hotels Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role, such as Team Leader Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a diverse team Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with leadership, guests, and other stakeholders Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in housekeeping management software and MS Office suite In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry Creative problem-solving skills with an eye for detail Ability to add personal touches to enhance guest experiences in rooms and public areas Excellent verbal and written communication skills Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, walking, and lifting Additional Information An opportunity to be with world’s preferred hospitality company Captivating and rewarding experience working alongside passionate professionals Range of exclusive Heartist's Benefits Develop your talent through learning programs by Academy Accor.
